Puppy Kindergarten Class   

Duration: The course is six weeks long and consists of some gentle obedience and a lot of socialization in the form of Puppy playtime and loud noises.

Location: We offer puppy kindergarten classes on an ongoing basis at the Academy on Saturday afternoons. Classes are held on the 2nd floor of the main building at the Nepean National Equestrian Park.

Cost: The cost for classes held at the Academy is $125.00 plus HST.

Prerequisites: The only prerequisite for the group class is that puppies are between 12 and 16 weeks old and have had their second round of shots. Puppies must complete a training evaluation at the academy and be found to have no major behavioural problems such as aggression with other dogs or people or any other problem that we may not be able to correct in a group environment. For those cases, private training will be most suitable to get the results you want.

Call us now to book a spot in this class as space for these groups are limited and registrations are on a first come first served basis. Come on out for a great time and lots of fun with your new puppy.

Group Classes

Duration: The course is 8 weeks in total. The classes are done once a week and last for 1 hour. We limit the number of students per Basic Obedience class to six and Advanced Obedience to eight only.

Location: We offer group classes at the Academy on Saturday afternoons. Classes are held on the 2nd floor of the main building at the Nepean National Equestrian Park.


When:  The next Basic Obedience group class is scheduled to start on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 2:00PM. The next Advanced Obedience group class is scheduled to start on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 3:00PM.

 

Cost: The cost for the classes at the Academy is $200.00 plus HST. 

 

Prerequisites: The only prerequisite for the group class is that your dog is at least 6 months old, has completed the training evaluation and has been found to have no major behavioural problems such as aggression with other dogs or people or any other problem that we feel that we will not be able to correct in a group environment. For those cases, private lessons will be most suitable to get the results you want.
