Natasha has always been an animal lover surrounded by dogs for as long as she can remember. As a result she unknowingly developed the ability to communicate and take the lead at a very young age. Even while working as a professional mechanical engineer she never turned away the chance to be involved with dogs, volunteering at the Ottawa Humane Society as a foster parent, dog walker, in clinic recovery and temperament testing in the behaviour department. All of which helped her realize this was her true calling and that she needed to pursue this passion of working with dogs. This is when she met Randy, who helped her make that dream a reality.
Natasha currently owns 3 dogs and 2 cats and handles dozens of animals each week for her husband’s pet photography business. Her enthusiastic, personable and energetic personality has won the hearts of many owners who thought ‘you will never get my dog to do that’!
She continues to learn and develop knowledge in training techniques, sports, nutrition, behaviour problems and has received Disaster Animal Response training to assist the dogs and puppies rescued from the large-scale breeding facility in Quebec. An advocate for many rescues, she still fills her home fostering everything from pit bulls to kittens, because she believes each one deserves a fair chance at life. Through her experience she can provide dog owners with the knowledge and skills to successfully teach their dogs to be balanced, well-behaved and confident.

The purpose of the evaluation is for us to determine what the cause of your dog's behaviour is, so we can make recommendations on what needs to be done to help you meet your training goals. Because all dogs are not the same, their problems and causes for problems will vary, and so will the treatment, depending on the nature of the dog's behaviour. All dogs are evaluated prior to training to ensure you get the best results possible. This process is quite simple. First click on the Free Training Evaluation and submit the information required. The trainer will review the information to get a good idea of your case. The trainer will then contact you to make an appointment to meet with you and your dog. When the trainer has evaluated your dog's temperament, you will be provided with a signed copy of your evaluation, complete with comments and recommendations for training.
