Kristi has always had a love for animals despite the fact that she was never allowed to own any growing up. She would play with her friends' dogs and cats and dream of the day when she could have her own. That day finally came when she bought her first condo with her husband and decided to get a cat. His name was Percy and he was a very curious, vocal and extremely cuddly Siamese cat. After a few years and the purchase of a larger home with a backyard, Kristi and her husband decided it was time to add to their family. After months of searching rescue sites and the Humane Society, they finally found Huckleberry the German Shepherd mix. While raising Huck, Kristi realized how much she enjoyed doing research on training and understanding her dogs behaviours, that maybe she could do this for a living. Kristi has always been working in the service industry and this just seemed to be perfectly suited to her personality and direction she wanted her life to take. After her successful completion of the Canadian Canine Trainer Course, Kristi is now able to educate and help dog owners discover the true potential of their dog. Kristi is continually educating herself through reading and attending seminars in dog pyschology, behaviour problems and first aid.

The purpose of the evaluation is for us to determine what the cause of your dog's behaviour is, so we can make recommendations on what needs to be done to help you meet your training goals. Because all dogs are not the same, their problems and causes for problems will vary, and so will the treatment, depending on the nature of the dog's behaviour. All dogs are evaluated prior to training to ensure you get the best results possible. This process is quite simple. First click on the Free Training Evaluation and submit the information required. The trainer will review the information to get a good idea of your case. The trainer will then contact you to make an appointment to meet with you and your dog. When the trainer has evaluated your dog's temperament, you will be provided with a signed copy of your evaluation, complete with comments and recommendations for training.
