A Newfie with big dogs, Andy is originally from Newfoundland and is now living in Ontario where he is an active member with the Canadian Forces.  He is the owner of Tito and Ele, both CKC registered purebred Boxers.  He started dog training with the desire to have well behaved large breed dogs, and it turned into a desire to help others develop their own dogs into well behaving pets.  “It is a great feeling watching a dog enjoying and having fun with his owner, while behaving appropriately without fear or aggression.  It is very difficult to see a dog living in constant fear and it is equally difficult to hear of a dog being destroyed because of aggression problems.  I want to help owners prevent these things from happening”.  When he is not reading books on dog training, watching his dogs participate in the show ring or volunteering at the OSPCA, Andy spends most of his free time with his wife exploring Ontario with his “dude” and “baby”, Tito and Ele.  He has a tough exterior with a soft spot for dogs and dog owners that need a little guidance.

The purpose of the evaluation is for us to determine what the cause of your dog's behaviour is, so we can make recommendations on what needs to be done to help you meet your training goals. Because all dogs are not the same, their problems and causes for problems will vary, and so will the treatment, depending on the nature of the dog's behaviour. All dogs are evaluated prior to training to ensure you get the best results possible. This process is quite simple. First click on the Free Training Evaluation and submit the information required. The trainer will review the information to get a good idea of your case.  The trainer will then contact you to make an appointment to meet with you and your dog. When the trainer has evaluated your dog's temperament, you will be provided with a signed copy of your evaluation, complete with comments and recommendations for training.
